BMW Z3 Sill Removal and Protection

Brilliant guide!

The only tools I needed were an 8mm socket and ratchet, and a clip puller

As far as I am aware there is no good method for getting the kick panels off, so you will definitely break most of the clips. I found sliding it towards the front of the car at least meant the clip rails didn't all snap , although they did on one side

The one thing I think this guide is missing it that you need to remove the rear jacking point to get the sill cover off. This is something to bear in mind before jacking the car up (like I did) and then having to support the car on a gearbox jack while I removed one two post lift arm and take the jacking point off. Scary stuff when the car is at head height!

Brilliant guide, well done
