Hi all!
I just replaced my Vanos line and noticed that the air hose coming from the air filter box to the engine is looking a bit dry. Because of this I want to replace this but when I look for online replacements I see most are missing a connection found on my current one. I have circled the connection in the attached image. This runs into a box under the air filter. Does this serve an further purpose or would I ben fine with a replacement that does not have this piece?
