Fuel price increases!!

In other news, I can now get £20 of petrol in my motorbike instead of only £17, not sure what all the fuss is about 😁

It wouldn't make a s*** of difference. Just give the journalists an easy day of news.

What WOULD make a significant difference IMO, is if everyone voted 'none of the above' in the local (or National) elections. This Country (in fact all of the Western world) is so obsessed by 'politics' and 'politicians' that they wouldn't know what to do. Even the journalists are obsessed with it.
The King would have to assume rule, which he would have no idea how to.

It would be a 'hard reset', making way for people who are not 'career politicians' and have knowledge of the real world.

If the above happened (and I would love to see it), the Country would run as normal in the interim, as the millions of un-elected Government employees would carry on as usual. The financial markets would melt, but maybe we should sack those money-grabbing arseholes too?

To make that effective compulsory voting is required. Which used to be the case in Oz, until the politicians changed the rule. Voter apathy is relied upon by those in power, hence low voter turn out. Another option is to just spoil the ballot paper by putting a massive X on the whole ballot paper by those who actually bother to vote, but again apathy is the killer. The political elite know full well how to play the game until compulsory voting is brought in.

On the Oz example Bob Hawke, just before he was voted out flew into Perth, Western Australia as WA was considering independence. Atop the R&I bank tower was a mahoosive flag with the words 'F*ck Off Hawkey' couldn't be missed from any flight path into the airport. He was voted out.

TiT. 😆

I paid $3.39 per gallon last week here in Texas. It was $3.59 the week before.
I wouldn't mind 3.59 a gallon, it's £6.88 a gallon here. That's 9.11 dollars. Roughly.

Now now, you're not allowed to say fat, it's just big. Anyway, there are an ever growing number of large people in the UK, especially teenagers, which is a concern.:(
