Small thread here but figured id document how i ran My coolant lines to the heater core in my swapped z3

the input and return lines on the z3 require 1 inch hose to the actual heater core piping The hoses i Ran from the input of my v8's intake manifold and return from the water pump were 3/4 inch so i ran 2 reducer elbows which can be seen in this photo here

as far as a shut off there are a few option i didn't opt in for an electric shut off valve or anything at least yet as the weather doestn typically fluctuate where i live so i have an Inline shut off valve just like seen in this photo

essentially it just cuts off the feed line to the heater core so if i determine its not going to need flow i just turn the actual valve and it shuts off flow to the heater core as opposed to attempting to repurpose the OEM unit
