Fuel Filler Surround Replacement

Hi all,

I noticed a split in the fuel filler surround on my Z3

I will order a replacement today but I thought I would ask how to replace it.

Do you need to take the surrounding panel off?
Any other tips for the process?

I am also questioning what happens with the roof rubber seal if the panel needs to be removed?

Hi Chris reckon fair chance rear wing off job .

Looking at that i think it would be difficult to remove wing in place.
Im reasonable certain the roof doesn't seat on the wing its just top top edge seal that sits against the wing.
