My name is Jerónimo and I’m thrilled to finally be part of the Zroadster community!
After years of admiring the iconic lines and raw driving experience of the Z3 M Roadster, I recently became the proud owner of a 1998 BMW Z3 M Roadster, European-spec with the legendary S50B32 engine. It’s a left-hand drive, 5-speed manual, produced in March 1998, and it’s finished in red.
The car is in decent mechanical condition, but cosmetically it’s a bit of a project — definitely a “driver” with a list of things to sort out (paint, interior trim, and a mysterious engine hiccup over 5k rpm). That said, I love it already. For me, it’s more than a car — it’s a passion project, and I can’t wait to bring it back to its best form.
I look forward to learning from everyone here, sharing updates, and hopefully contributing some useful stuff as I dive into restoring and enjoying this fantastic roadster.
Cheers,
Jero
