Hi.i have an 8/10 1999 Z3 2.0 auto ( for the older man!!) Just decided to treat both sills and respray front bumper ( paint chips and minor scuffs(artic silver).I would appreciate any tips advice on the sill job.
I live in n.ireland( you know the island with the continual rain.)The Z3 developed a bad water leak at the roof just above the drivers window.i noticed the tension wire was broken on that side, ordered a kit( both sides) on stripping back the canvas at the drivers corner to fit the tension wire the frame had some minor corrosion around the corner area outside and inside,I used a Dremel to access the tricky parts and sanded the white corrosion, treated with anti-corrosion, zinc spray and then Matt black ( didn't pursue the original BMW black as Matt is bear enough if you blow in to the inner central handle area.Very funny at minute as there has been no rain to test the roof/ window seal, again any advice on this topic would be appreciated, kind regards everyone, Alex
