I replaced the rear shocks on my 2001 Z3 2.5L last weekend, and did the front struts and lower control arms this weekend. I have only had the car about a year and only limited info about it’s service history, but all of the parts that came off looked to be original!! The new bits absolutely transformed the ride and handling, but at age 67 such tasks are proving to be more and more taxing for my old body. Bought an impact wrench to get the top nut off the struts and I love the tool, so at least that was a plus from the whole ordeal.
