Hello to the forum community,
I am new to the forum but am a longime Z3 fan. I bought my first one in 1997, a new 2.8 litre in red with black interior. I drove it as my daily driver for many years. With a set of winter tires it was a great little winter car. I taught both my daughters to drive a manual in that car. I drove it halfway across the country and back comfortably. I have owned many cars along with the BMW but would say the BMW Z3 had the best of everything I was looking for in a car. Sadly, after 27 years, the years of winter driving had taken a toll and I had to part with it. I looked at restoring it, but the financial equation made no sense. So after a short mourning period, I was again in the market for another one. After a couple years of searching and bidding and losing many auctions, I finally found one. A 2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster in blue with solid black interior with 17K miles. Very happy with the purchase. I addressed all the common weak points and had the car properly serviced. I do have one item that I will create a new post that I am hoping this forum can help me with. That's it for now.
