Purple Tag Steering Rack

Evening all,

I think I may well know the answer to this question, however was after some confirmation.

Is there any point to a purple tag steering rack on the Z3?

A few friends have pointed out that it may be worth going for one, however after a quick look online, the purple tag rack is 3 turns lock to lock whereby the rack I have (1 094 038) is 2.7 turns.

No point. The z3 one is a ‘quicker’ rack and why they are sought after for other BMW’s
