Announcement System downtime notice - Tue 16 Jun 2026

Hi all,

We now have time scheduled with our forum guru to carry out the updates. He’s successfully run the upgrades without issues on a development copy of the forum.

The forum will be unavailable Tuesday 16 Jun 2026, between 09:00 - 12:00.

Will pop updates in here if needed and bump it a few times for visibility. I would then ask that any questions or issues you see are posted in this thread to make collating them easier.

A lot of issues you’ll perceive will likely just need your browser cache flushed, but we’ll deal with those as we see them!

So I'm guessing no questions or issues raised is a good thing!

We do have a couple of things which need to be sorted in the background (Donation system for example). On the whole a big success methinks. Just need to work on some of the new features then push out the new logo/branding!

I have an issue that i can't seem to solve at the moment.

If i push the 3 dots arrowed it opens the pictured drop down with emoji etc.
I cant pick anything from any of the dropdown boxes this is on my phone which is the place where almost all my forum stuff is done.

Hi phone is Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra
Browser should just be Google.

I see you have a dark theme? can you try a default theme to see if problem still exists

Hi Guys have tried Dark zorg ,light zorg and default icons are unclickable on any of them.
What i have noticed is in light zorg my background stays black and zroadster.org logo goes from white on black to black on black so can barely see it bar the red S.

Sorry also tried removing the dark mode from my phone
Still same but now i can see when i pick the 3 dots the drop down have a grey box round them still can't select any of them.

Entered this via Samsung A16 and Vivaldi (Chrome based) browser

Screenshot entering reply ~ what I did find was that the keyboard takes up a lot of the screen and that that the emojis dropped behind it .

A bit of sliding things about eventually revealed the emoji table of characters ~ click the emoji button, then to the left of the reply box slide up, then emojis should appear?

After binning Zroadster off my phone and reinstalled, restarted phone, rubbed my stomach while patting my head while turning anticlockwise and saying colours of the rainbow backwards.


And low and behold icons all light up now and can select them so all good
