All. Hoping to get a little advice here. Went to the car this morning nothing no lights instrument cluster completely dead. Was out in it last weekend with no issues the only thing I’ve done is pulled the radio as I was getting a bit of bounce on the cd player. I didn’t disconnect from the battery as I just wanted to ensure it was sitting right.
I don’t have anything to check the battery however it’s been on charge for hours and still nothing. I know it sounds like a battery issue but I’m not sure.
any advise please would be a great help.

Don't suppose it's the same issue but was out in my Z3 last week end and pulled in to allow another car to pass ( narrow country lane ) suddenly the engine and everything else went dead ?? went to boot pulled at positive battery lead and it felt loose tightened up hey presto all back on
may be worth a look at ?

When I had that problem I assumed the battery was duff so bought a new one.

Aftet fitting the new battery everything was fine - but I could hear a quiet clicking coming from the passenger seat.

Closer investigation and I found that the passenger seat backward switch was stuck in back direction and the seat was continuously trying to back itself into the trunk. There's no limit sensor so it just keeps trying even with the ignition off.
