But your test is maybe a bit stricter than ours.
When I lived in Germany the test was also done every 2 years. Also done by testers employed by TUV (or Dekra) doing the test on TUV premises ie not working for a garage/workshop.

It is a bit more strict I guess, but not German strict for sure... it's done in special garages that only do this job (cannot be a workshop) and they have to upload the results with pictures to a government body etc. but you can find also relaxed ones if you go outside of Copenhagen.

A 2.2 that uses oil? Where have I heard that one before?
To be fair, it’s only the second 4l of top up oil I’ve needed in 17k miles. Could be worse I guess.@Jam03 has the rare 2.2stroke engine
