For me - and this is only my opinion and not a slur on any event or organisers - I don't go to events like this as I prefer driving to parking.

Parking in a field and walking round different versions of the same car really does not float my boat unfortunately - and God help me if anyone proposes a "show & Shine"!!

However, as I say thats just me
Glad you posted that as I thought it was just me. I arrived this year at 10am and by 10:30am I was already bored and considering leaving.

Walked round a couple of times, got absolutely covered in dust dragged it out to about 11:30am and did one.

That'll be my last one.

Know what you mean @bertiejaffa , I haven't been to a Zedfest for a while , but I do like to go to some other shows to look at the different cars, bit of nostalgia. It's a drive out as well , but of course I take trips out in the zed whenever possible.
For the same reason I much prefer the event at Thoresby and Wentworth wasn't bad either earlier this year

I think most regulars go to these one-marque events to meet and catch up with people they haven't seen in, maybe, a year or more. Zeds is just the common denominator. I really can't find any criticism in that.

I sometimes wish I was more sociable. But I'm just too lazy.

I do like a nice 'all marques' custom or classic car event where there's always something to see and admire.

I tend to agree which I why avoided for the first 7 years of Zed residency…however as others said it is good to catch up with buddies especially forum members and see what mods folks have done…

I always find it strange how many folks won’t mingle even though they’ve attended..

For me I never now enter English airspace so gives me a rare chance to visit the ‘south’…

I’ve already booked my hotel for next year!

No excuses from the Z3-ers as the date has been published here …😳🙈😂🧐

I organised a Z3 meeting for the first time at a pub near Stratford upon Avon a couple of months ago..I'd never done anything like this before..We had 19 Z3's turn up so we do drive our cars to meetings!

I've been to the Shepsted meeting a couple of times before and enjoyed it and looking around etc..Even then predominantly Z4s ..I have zero interest in Z4s and I suspect the majority of the Z4s owners have the same view on Z3s :)

Not at all @Ade33 , like me, many Z4 owners previously had Z3 s. I had 3 Z3 s, and an E85 before I bought my E89. I like them all for different reasons.
